Rose Windows
Chartres Cathedral only has 3 rose windows the north, west, and south.

The south rose window represent the blessing and glorification of Christ. Jesus is surrounded by the 4 Evangelists, angles, and some of the prophets from the Old Testament.
The north rose window was givin to Chartres in 1230 from Queen Blanche of Castille. This rose window is dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
The west rose window has Jesus at the Last Judgment.There are images of heaven and hell. There are also angles with trumpets.
