STATUES

    Chartres Cathedral has a many statues, there around 90 sculpted figures in their cathedral. There are some inside the cathedral and some that surround the doors of portals or along the walls of the cathedral. 
     There are statues of Jesus, St. Ann, 12 Apostles, royalty. There are also statues of people from the Old Testament like Elijah, Isaiah, and Jeremiah. Chartres Cathedral also had some interesting gargoyles. There are eagles, griffins, imps, dogs, a dragon, etc.
