The features of Bourges makes it unique.  If you look down on Bourges cathedral.  It doesn't look like a cross like the others but if you thake the building off the foundation.  You will see a cruciform.   The location of the cathedral is nit all that random.  The cathedral is on top of a small hill so when it was done it made you feel closer to God.  Of course it is the tallest building in town.
